Alone in the Mountains(高一适用)
江苏 宋德富

last morning, Frank moved quietly out of the tent and into the dawn (黎明) stillness, and climbed old Baldy. Now he sat on the top of the mountain, staring in to those tricky distance, and he didn't even have that sinking feeling in his stomach that he used to have on the ladder when he was helping Dad paint the house. He felt good, but he was tired….The silver thread shone far below, spreading out into…. suddenly he found himself slipping down the steep (陡峭的) slope (斜波)on which he sat.
