[辨析]predict和anticipate都有“预料,预见”义,但predict是根据经验和知识对即将发生的事情的描绘与预言,即to see or describe (a future happening) in advance as a result of knowledge, experience, thought etc.而anticipate是预先“期盼”,“猜测”,“想象”,并做必要的准备,即expect, to guess or imagine in advance (what will happen) and take the necessary action in order to be ready.
